"It's almost impossible to hold them accountable and enforce consistent boundaries. I used to just be able to physically make them do stuff, but now that they are bigger than me I don't know how to hold them accountable and keep them motivated."
In over a decade of helping parents with kids on the Autism spectrum (and over 3 decades of being on the Autism spectrum myself) there is one question that stands above the rest. "How Do I get them to do x?". Especially with co-morbidities like Oppositional Defiance, it can be a real pain and struggle to motivate, hold them accountable and enforce boundaries.
The good news is that it isn't impossible. There is an easy method that works great for people on the Autism spectrum that ensures they are consistently motivated and driven WITHOUT you having to micromanage, nag or walk on eggshells, and I'd love to teach it to you.
If that sounds like something you are interested in, I invite you to join me for an upcoming webinar. On the webinar together, I'll take you by the hand, and over the course of an hour (ish), I'll walk you through, step-by-step:
#1) The biggest mistake parents make when trying to motivate & hold boundaries (that ends up making everything harder).
#2) The best short term & long term motivation strategies that you can start implementing today.
#3) How to strengthen your relationship and build trust while at the same time still enforcing boundaries and ensuring productivity. In other words, you don't need to be the taskmaster.
Register today, and I'll see you on the webinar!
